Lovely capture Lyn - I really like the viewpoint - and looking through the agapanthus is the icing on the cake. You are certainly not 'without a paddle' on this one! lol Gorgeous colours - and lovely and fresh feel to the whole thing.

Super shot, and I wouldn't mind being up a creek without a paddle if I had this to look at. Hope you're doing better.

Very interesting the way the "buds" are opening in the left portion of the photo. There is a lot of flower packed into each of those buds!

A lot of nice textures in there, Eve. The shot has a sense of three dimension probably due to the way you composed it. What a beautiful place to walk.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

"Up the Creek" always had a negative connotation in my mind for as long as I can remember ... but you've given it a much more positive meaning here. Who would mind being "Up the Creek" after seeing this lovely shot. (Take care Eve ... heal quickly)

For some reason I always get these mixed up with allium. I guess both are in the lily family. These are splendid and in a most agreeable setting. Stay outside like this and away from stairs for a while.
