Some eye-catching hues and shades of blue in this image, Lyn and I love how the eye sweeped over the sea to the far horizon, thanks to the natural frame formed by the foliage. Very restful.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

There must be more than one variety of "weeping willow" for those I've encountered in the States are extremely full and drape nearly to the ground. In any case this is a wonderful scene you've captured and I like looking through the tree at the water and far coast. In my opinion, a tiny bit less of the tree on the right (just a tad less) might have been preferable but it in no way prevents me from enjoying this marvelous view.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I have to agree with muggsy on the differing types of weeping willows. If you had the type we had here, you'd be hard pressed to see the water at all. I think the arrangement you saw and chose is perfect. Gotta love the colors in the waves, Lyn.
Yes- you are getting to be New Zealand's number one promoter! I am very pleased with the branches framing the scene and how the eye is drawn back over and over to the area in the distance. This picture makes a beautiful background!

My eyes went right to the pass between the hills and that's where the framing lead them. A lovely variety of plants too for extra attraction. Quite nicely done.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Are you sure those are weeping willows? I like the framework provided by them. The silhouettes are so sharp and clear. And that water, I could kill for it. How disgusting. Not only is the water in your surrounding oceans beautiful, so are your lakes. Excellent.
