I see what you mean LynEve about the stonework but I also like the peek-a-boo into the distance:))

Well, it's all new to me, although it's obviously been there for quite a while. It's a great study in textures and contrast, Lyn.

Now that looks familiar :) I like the way you had framed this shot, all the times I have been there its never occured to me to do a shot like that. I love to see new perspectives of the town, when you see it everyday you can get a bit used to it.

Lovely shot

I find that stone work VERY interesting as well. Time has taken it's toll over the centuries leaving a panoply of color tone and unique sculpture. Wonderful perspective Eve.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Just enough of a view to whet the appetite for more and the stone really shows its age to us quite nicely in your capture. Great perspective.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
