The three bridges spanning the Conwy estuary in North Wales, UK. Conwy suspension bridge (centre) was designed and built by Thomas Telford (1757-1834) and was completed in 1826. Close by the Castle, the supporting towers match the castle's turrets. It replaced the ferry, which was previously the only means of crossing the river. Conwy Tubular Bridge (right) was built by Robert Stephenson (1803-59) to carry the railway across the estuary and was officially opened in 1849. The road bridge was completed in 1958. . . What a marvelous piece, Eve! Quite a spectacular view and the framing is so appropriate. You are such a wonderful coordinator and photographer.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Been to the UK but never to Wales though ! therefore thanks for showing a part of the world i certanly do not know.
I hear they speak funny there ! :-) could you understand their language ? hehe he
The old bridge seems to be crunched in to somewhat modern looking bridges ?
What a shame for that old bridge.
But i do like the shot very much, as i like the frame !

Saw this in VB and thought it worth a '10' just for the composition alone. Beautiful sky, and terrific clarity. Super job.
