This picture was taken last evening just 2 minutes after my previous Sundown . . one was on normal 'Automatic' setting (most of my pics are) and the other I used the 'Night Landscape' setting. No idea which is which. . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7. . . . . Thank you for viewing, comments most welcome and very appreciated.

Lyn, This is an 'unbelievable' image. I've never seen such a dramatic sunset before. Doesn't matter how you've 'fixed' that as the result is there. Thanks (for sharing) & regards, Cornelius

Wow ... Just left your "Sundown". Had a minor gripe with that one ... No "Grinch" comment on this one Eve, this is outstanding in every aspect. The title is perfection. This does bring to mind a BEAUTIFUL photographic rendition of a painting. Excellent image ... Lord what a capture you made of this sky.

I can't take my eyes off this one, Lyn - it's absolutely rivetting. The colours in this sky look like the results achieved from a wet-on-wet watercolour painting. Incredible. How I envy you having seen this sky for real. Superb shot!!

I guess two minutes can make a dramatic difference too. That is one heck of a sky and it looks like fire, soot and smoke or perhaps a huge glowing ember. Great post!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . I would give it a 9.5/10 without the red borders or 6.5 to 7/10 with. Please tell me you have the original without the borders. The problem is the black bottom border blends in as part of the pic since the ground and horizon is also black. This does not match the top and the red border looks way out of place and hurts the horizontal symetry between the top and bottom of the photo. I would recommend taking off the top black border and PS out the red border line at the bottom. This way there is more horizon and ground level. With the bottom border removed instead of PS the red line, you would not see enough ground for it to look right.
