beautiful close-up my dear, with very beautiful soft colours of the flower the blurry on the edge is given the picture a dreamy look and I like that:))

The gray backdrop really compliments the pink flower here and the slight diffusion that surrounds the main subject really adds quality to the inner portions!! Perfect-o!!

This one is still more impressive than the other one. The petals look as though they are made of soft silk! Great job, Lyn.

Beautiful shot, Lyn. The first thing that caught my eye was the lovely blend of softness around the outer edges of the petals and background compared to the clarity of the center of the flower, but then I discovered the bits of yellow at the base of the petals and the image thoroughly won me over. :)

Gotta love these dahlias. They are so perfect and your softening effect really makes them look wonderful. Your soft frame is a really complimentary one also. Your flowers are always beautifully captured and presented.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Oh, I like both of them and they both have their charms, but this one speaks to me more..on a different level than the other. They're both great, though and a 10 in the voting booth if I happen to get so lucky tonight :)

They're both marvels to behold. You did create emotion, but for me, the emotion isn't serenity; it's light-hearted cheer.
