Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Hey what is this? A big pile of hay...very nice...makes me wish I were a cow. I can only imagine how excited a cow would be seeing this. Come to think of it though I don't ever remember seeing an excited cow. If they are standing I know they are still alive.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Lyn, it's alway's hard to imagine: while people at the northern hemisphere are preparing themselves for spring and summer, the people at the southern hemosphere are preparing themselves for autumn and winter. To me, this 'haystack-image' depicts this situation very well. Beautiful captured! Thanks (for sharing) & regards, Cornelius
You live in one of the most picturesque places on earth, Eve, and I can see why you find such great shots. The hay here now is also usually in the form of the large, round bales, so it's fun to see the old squares again. Whatever those plants are that are growing around the pile of hay are quite lovely as well.
Lovely soft hills in the background, and yes this enormous bundle of hay is waiting for winter...just come overhere and celebrate summer allover again Lynn !
On a personal note, i would have cloned out the fence, i find it a little disturbing in this image, but hey who am i, so many people just like images as they come !
Luv the backdrop of wondrous rolling hillsides!!
