This is Takiroa, a large overhanging limestone bluff in North Otago, New Zealand. In the shallow caves beneath are Maori Rock drawings in charcoal and ochre dating back to the Moa hunting era of AD1000 – 1500. Takiroa means 'Long Echo" .Panasonic DMC-FZ7. .
