Bats in the Belfry! :) No real ones, just a batty person with a camera. This is the view from the bell tower at St Alban's Anglican Church, Kurow, North Otago,New Zealand. The church was built in 1878, but the bell tower is a recent addition. . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7. . Thank you for taking a look.Any commments welcome and appreciated

That's a lovely shot - especially with such nice background scenery seen through that window. I like the contrast of the dark bell area against that blue.

Nice capture, beautiful scenery, you would have gone batty if that bell had started ringing.

Great silhouette of this Bell. The background really adds to the pic.

I searched all up and down this comment list to find the one I left...I know I've seen this before...ah ha..oh, yeah...the voting booth..it's great and now I wished I had rushed in here to tell you the moment I stepped away from the booth. I love this with the clouds in the background looking like a snow-covered mountain.

This is where the doorway was too, right? That bell in silhouette against the beautiful scenery makes a wonderful composition. The shot is so clear as well. You have some great ideas, Eve.

Very nice, Eve. I like the bell and the window framing the sunny autumnal background fields and hills.
