I do like this one better ( not that there is anything wrong with experimenting!!)I like not only the colors, but the softness of the picture as well.

After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
This is certainly a beautiful flower and photograph, but I really loved your manipulation. How fortunate you can supply so many folks with exactly what they like best!

As for the flower alone goes, i do prefer this one, but as far as the desktop goes, i go for the other, seeing there are no distracting background things there. I also liked the overall blue tone of the desktop, but i am pleased to have seen the original !

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
