Lovely composition. I love b/w when it's done right and this one, to my eyes, is done right. Excellent.

Even though I love your fiery skies, this is a wonderful change! I'm partial to b/w. (If it were my post "they" would tell me to get rid of the plant in front.... :0) Lovely! ~Mary~

It shows black and white can also be just as attarctive as a colour photograph. The effect is quite good.

Snazzy capture!! Luv the "blue" tonalities in the B&W...a filter?? I really like the set-up here with the foreground piece slightly off-center...it really brings everthing together and creates some nice focusing points to the piece!!

Well, I have nothing against black and white, but your colors are always so rich, that it's hard to look at a sea pic of yours without the color. It is dramatic, I have to say that :)

I think the b/w helps me to see more. I look around a lot longer to take in all the textures and forms. A great shot to try this on too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
