Another flower shot :) The ground was covered in crunchy frost as these roses lifted their faces to the winter sunshine. These are both on the same bush, I like how they start out with pink buds and open into pale pink/almost white. . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.

Wow, now you have me wondering. Do you get frosts? These are blooming and it's winter time there! What a wonderful rose to go from rosey pink to very pale pink. Do you know the variety? The gray always is a nice compliment to pink and this post is so lovely and the roses are so detailed. Another beauty, LynEve.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

A very beautiful presentation, Lyn. I like the way you have blurred (smoked out :)) the edges and corners and the frame is classy!

Nice 'n' romantic!! ~wink, wink~

Wish the focus would've been more throughout the image vs. dead-center as it really draws you into the red roses leaf coming into the white roses petal. I like the lighter vignette done to create that misty 'n' sexy mood!!

amazing transformation from pink to white! The bush must look very pretty with the contrasting colours! Lovely capture Lyn - it has a real softness about it, but that is probably because you have expertly added a soft border! nice presentation!

Got this in the voting booth Eve and gave it high marks! I like the color contrast between the two roses as well as the farming and the misty/foggy appearance you gave the entire image. very classy and tasteful. I am glad your roses are blooming in the first! All minn died in a late Spring hard freeze we had here.
I miss them. :(
Thanks for sharing this with me and right to the favorites it goes to bloom some more ;o)

Not another flower shot!!!!!! hehehehe I'm kidding...
This is a beauty... wonderful close up, like the capture of the 2 colours, the mist effect gives it a dreamy look and the frame compliments it very nicely...

Hi Lyn,

My oh my, this is simply lovely, so beautiful, I can hardly look away from it's beauty. I must say, my dear friend, that your floral images have far exceeded anything I could possibly produce!! When you once commented, (in my Bio), that, 'I had encouraged you', stimulated your interest in floral shooting, I was amazed then, but now, WOW...................Your artistry is beyond attainment, what you have accomplished is awesome! Your photos, and especially the one in question here, is picture perfect in every way, that of composition, clarity, color, and is completed in refinement, with the touch of a skilled photographer! You have climbed the latter of, what I refer to as, that place of successful photogapyhy! I love your work Lyn, and this will enter my favorites immediately,

Sincerely, Marilyn

P.S. Lyn, your work has 'style' and it has 'class'!!
