Being from Florida, we do not have landscape like this. Love the shot. The dark shadows make it look like the hilltops are illuminated from within. Just makes me want to walk in that area for hours and hours. Fantastic.

With the evening sun the shadows are long but that somehow adds to the serene appearance of the scenery. Added to that the different shades and all that cattle. Lovely scene,Lyn.

How peaceful. How do you get anything done with such landscapes to take in?

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I absolutely LOVE this shot. The textures and lines are awesome, the clarity is awesome and I think the light and shadow is exactly right, adding just a touch of drama to the quietness of the image. Amazing how something so peaceful can also look so intense. Magnificent photograph.

Lyn, I just ran across this in someone's favorites. I can see why they had it there. What a panoramic view this is. Looks much better in full size. I like the dark shades which gives it a mysterious and shadowy effect. Like the rural look with the sheep grazing.
