Beautiful, Lyn. They really pop against that black background. It seems strange for these to be blooming so late in the season.

We call these daffodils!..'Is that the same!'..

I just love that presentation..the black against yellow is very contrasty

Lovely sunlit blossoms look divine against the black. Your green frame is perfect... Your winter sure isn't very long. I wanted to hear about the driven snow. lol This means our fall is very close by.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I love the black background - beautiful contrasts! I wouldn't expect to see these with snowflakes flying, either. I hope they survive, too!

Lyn, daffodils are strong. They can survive frost. Although you had some snow flakes and it's freezing now, think that spring is near in New Zealand. Thanks for this wonderful composition (image and framing). Regards, Cornelius

Spring has sprung, or so it seems. Lovely work and everyone has captured the very mood that this image put me in. Lovely work and I'm glad you're on your way to warmer weather !! :)

Very well done, Lyn. These flowers look gorgeous and the dark background brings them out well. If they don't survive the night they will at least survive for a long time in your lovely presentation.
