*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!* Dunstickin's Gallery

I like this one even more Lyn, not quite so busy, and I agree, the framing is perfect for it.

Yes, you have done a good job. I wasn't sure you would be able to pull a small enough crop from your original and have it look this clear. It is now more focused on the subject. It seems you have also managed to decrease the contrast although I think that could be a little better still. That would definately need to be a re-shoot with fill flash or under less direct natural light. Great save still Lyn;-)

Well, you did one helleborus of a job! You did it so beautifully and picked the perfect green to pop those pinks. this really plays up those flowers to great advantage and they are so beautiful. Are these harbingers of spring for you?

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

It does look much better this way, Lyn. Not so crowded, and with the background changed it brings the flowers more out. The frame is very good, too.

Lyn, to me the cropped version is even better than the original one. Regards, Cornelius

nicely done. this is balanced, and now, visually, the bright light on the flowers ...has somewhere to go. the minty green background you've given this is a nice touch. It feels light, and airy. kudos!

I DO think this is 'nicely done' .. superbly done .. I think it is a totally different image than the other .. and the crits of the other might convince you to stop doing similar 'busynesses' .. I don't subscribe to the school of thought that every image needs to have a solo subject .. (look at an autumn forest scene, for example .. the entire composition IS the subject) ..

while all the guys circle this one, and compete for her phone number, I will be going to the prom with her often maligned sister .. she will supply the corsage for her heaving bosom

'coz I'm a cheap date ..

:o)

I thought he said porn!! I had to re-read it, I see now it sez prom!! Whew!! Wipes brow!!

Penelty!! Offsides...5 yards, still 1st down!! 8~D

I disagree with Baby Big Ears on this one, sorry. The 1st thing I noticed was the odd size of upload, that's easily over-looked though. However, I feel like the frame works is too busy along with the color choice blending into the already same color vignette in relation to the backdrop and flora at hand. To me it's busier than the other.

Gee wiz, I hate to be the party pooper!!

See if Keith will spring for another chili-dog...he may be cheap, but he likes his woman full, happy and sleepy!! 8~O

Well...I'll just slip through the cracks and wise cracks and tell you I think they're both super..how's that for avoiding this most divisive of remakes?

Oh, most excellent! Really beautiful lighting and clarity, and as usual, the presentation is perfect. This is coming from someone who usually doesn't like frames. But something about this one made me smile.
