Awesome Lyn. I love the boats in the foreground and all the colors in the back. Gull adds a lot to photo. It blends well with the almost birdlike clouds in background. Time for me to go fishing. Put it in favorites. Great clarity.

I almost missed all those empty shell over on the right-hand side. Either the birds or somebody's certainly been having a feast along this gorgeous shore!! :)

I love the way the bird entered the scene as you took this shot and I like the blue shadows on the boat as well as the seashells on the shoreline. Nice bits of light and shadow too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

super rich colours and lovely shot from the little boat! ...and yes watch the bird! I remember once being on Llandudno pier, which you will know Lyn, and a seagull div bombed and stole the icecream right out of the hand of the little old man walking in front of me! I fell about laughing, but I do not think he was that amused! lol!

a minor point but what i like most about this pic are 2 "minor" details;the gull in flight and the thin ribbons of cloud.these set off nicely the calm of the rest of the piece, simon.

Definitely one of your best – pulls of the neat trick of composition by being both very cluttered and remarkably focused all at the same time. Well done.
