A monochromatic sort of a day which seemed to suit this gull party. Sumner beach, Christchurch, NZ. Close your eyes and imagine the raucous racket these birds were making :). .Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.

The two birds at the top tipping away from each other - what a perfect moment to catch. I think I'm enjoying seeing it without all of the noise! Wonderful.

This shot seems a tad over-sharp to me, but it's still a very pleasant composition and a great example of how to make the best of a grey-sky day. Very nice work!

Amazing, Eve. I'll never know how you do it. You managed to make a plain shot of a bunch of seagulls look like a painting. I don't think it's overly sharp at all. It's just clearly seen...each and everyone of those birds. Very clever!! :)

I can imagine the racket Lyn! lol! Dreary day or not you have captured some wonderful things in this photo - the waves crashing in, the gulls reflections in the water where they stand and the gulls in flight! super shot!
