Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.
What a perfect presentation for a "Roadside Snapshot" :) Although the capture is far from your typical snapshot. Great shot and very original presentation. +++++
Must say there's nothing I don't like about this "snapshot." Great post and I like the idea. Scenery is beautiful. Reminds me of looking through a very old album.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Always remember - Follow the Yellow Brick Road, it will lead you to the Emerald City and OZ A very nice place to be. Trust me on this one, I live there. The Lion **** MY CAEDES GALLERY****Another Site I'm AT - MY DA HOME PAGE
A beautiful vista and a clever bit of framing! The brownish green foothills below the white mountains are showing some interesting and curious effects - presumably due to a telephoto lens - but even more unusual is the small whitish area above the grass line on the far right. I'm sure it's just an unfortunate artifact, but it looks surprisingly like a head and shoulders. Most odd! Quite apart from these, though, it's a lovely shot, and up to your usual high standard.

Hope my old Geography teacher never reads this - I did not realize there were Alps in New Zealand.... Your photos have done more for the tourist trade to New Zealand than any promotional idea they could come up with - I'm absolutely entranced with the variety of landscapes there! I love your treatment of this shot.

I have to go along with kwaters on this one. You've made me truly think about moving there when I retire...or sooner, but you already know that. Another one to add as a notch on your photographic belt!!!
