The black headed duck is the same one as in my post of yesterday. Some of you asked what type of duck it was but I am sorry I don't know.If anyone does I would be interested too :) I thought these two made a nice looking pair.

Great photo. The white headed duck reminds me of how I look now, while the black headed duck takes me back in time. What is nice is that I like both ducks. Great contrast and post. Your photo's get me to thinking............

This is a pair of Paradise Ducks - found only in NZ> The male has the black head and the female has the white head. As a birder I couldn't rest until I'd found out! And thank you, Lyn/Eve, for a beautiful couple of photos that inspired my search!
