:) Please view full screen to see the detail in the centre of the flowers - its looks like lace. I have never noticed it before although I have grown these for years. The cuttings were given to me by an old friend and she called them Dusty Millers. I do not know the real name. The leaves and stems have a dusty look, so maybe that is the reason.

The leave are turning in my corner of the world and the Flowers just become brighter and more beautiful where you reside. Great clear photo and framing is excellent as usual. If I ever decide to "frame" someone. You will be the first I call. Great post.

So you take your basic little yellow flower and the you very carefully frost each one of them so that they start to look like dessert!!! Love your techniques, my dear, and your uploads..this one is definitely included :)

Lovely flowers Lyn. The centre looks like it has been sprayed with icing sugar. Beautiful framing.

So soft and delicate. What a lovely picture. Wish I knew the name of the flower and if it grows in Florida. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, are they ever lovely whatever they are called. Here 'dusty miller' is a silver artemesia planted with other annuals for added texture and, well, silveriness. I can't imagine not viewing full screen before leaving a comment, but I guess some folks do. I wouldn't have noticed the judicious use of a dark blue frame from the smaller image either. Really very pretty, Eve. I'll have to see if I can find these on line. It would be nice to have some in my own garden. The shot is quite clear and well perspected too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Now that's a very interesting shot Lyn. The lighting is very clever - delicate but pervasive - and the subject is so unusual. I guess this is a species of Primula, but I've never come across any with that dusty centre before.
