Great capture at a really pleasing angle, Lyn. You did well to not to get any tourists in shot. :-) I like how you've included the tree, which gives good balance and contrast to the image. Super!

Another lovely Paris post along with excellent information. I learn a lot on this site in spite of myself. Beautiful shot and tree does give photo perspective. Colors and clarity excellent per usual.

Another great "Kodak shot". The details are so clear and they stand out so well against the blue sky.

Very nice shot. I really like the clarity you got on the texture of this church. I also like your contrasting blues and greens.

A beautiful building shot at a great angle. I wonder if those soldiers are representative of God's army. I love the domes.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Lyn, as this image is captured with your Kodak V550 as well, I assume that you edited the original image as well. Yes: a wonderful result; No: a wonderful image! Regards, Cornelius

An interesting and beautiful shot, Lyn. The stonework seems to have a slight pinkish tone and I wonder if this is a colour cast or just natural? If not natural, have you tried setting the "grey" point on the Curves dialogue box in Photoshop? Would be interested to know if that makes any difference...

Everyone has said it, and yes, I'm guilty of being late to the party, but I'm bringing fall shots...does that serve as an excuse? Your clarity and yet the strength of the building and the life this photo has is amazing...well done and you deserved a higher score :(

Nice composition, Lyn, but something looks odd about the brightness and coloration of the tops of the towers...they seem to have some of the blue cast of the sky and are slightly darker than areas lower on the building, just the opposite of what I'd expect.
