Evening sun on the waves - This is the original colour version of my b/w conversion of yesterday. It is clearer in this one which direction the waves are actually going in. I had the camera on zoom as that jetty was NOT a safe place to venture along. :)

looks even better in color Eve...the dark blue of water tells the viewer this was taken in evening...gerry

Lyn, one can't compare apples with pears. The same with your images as each one has it own charmes. To me this is a stunning one too. Please don't blame me for not making a choice between the B&W and coloured version. Regards, Cornelius

I prefer this one because you can imagine it easier in B/W. The near darkness makes this possible. It still shows power plus I get the movie: "From Here To Etenity" out of my head.

I'm on the colored version side of the split opinion, Eve. I think in this instance the color gives it even more vitality...and here I thought the black and white one was great!!!! :)
