The gentle sound of the water, and birdsong - nothing else. A place to sit, a place to think, to watch the shadows on the river. All the time the stones you are sitting on getting colder and colder! lol. Again the Wainakarua River, looking in the other direction from my earlier post of the ford. . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.

That is when you start singing the old songs to yourself :) Lovely scene here - I can almost hear the gentle lap of the water.

Great spot and your narrative makes me feel I'm there. Like all the green surrounding the blue of the water. Very nice photo Lyn.

He sighed and she sighed, down by the riverside, down by the riverside, down by the riverside. La, la, la, la, la......la!
Beautiful riverside and I like the way the sun and the shade made the water have different colors. The shadows of those tall looming trees add to the shot.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
