Driving down the hill to the supermarket today I noticed the sea was having a 'turquoise' day so I forgot about the shopping and went to the sea instead :) There is a walkway round the cape which in all the years I have lived here have never ventured along. Over the years it has often been closed as the elements claim pieces of it and it falls into the sea. Recently restored, today it looked very inviting so I heeded the 'Proceed With Care' sign and off I went, returning 138 photos later. I promise not to upload all of them - just a few, lol. This is 5 minutes along the track and you can see its continuation, which is where I am headed and round the corner. . .North Otago Coast, NZ. . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.

Wish I could be there now Lyn, to enjoy this perfect view in person. Think it doesn't amaze you when I say that it's a beautiful image (and it is). Regards, Cornelius

Wow, Lyn - what a sea! And what a path! But *only* 138 pictures? In scenery like this, that's showing great restraint!

I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I'm very happy that you decided to take advantage of the gorgeous colors the sea was giving you, but you can't live on love or beauty alone, so I hope you made it to the store sooner or later..lol...You KNOW this is a great post.

You pass scenery like this on your way to the supermarket? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I can't stand it. How dare you say such a thing. I'm jealous. I'm in an outrage. Goodbye! I kept a copy of your lousy supermarket scenery, by the way. Humpf!
