It looks like the end of the road but it isn't, round another corner and a bit more walking. The pink flowers are Horokaka, Native NZ Ice Plant which grows abundantly in this area. . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.

I like how the path rounds the corner. Makes me wonder what's around the corner and what it looks like. Nice Capture Lyn.

It's, to a certain extend, amazing to me Lyn that these plants can grow and bloom in such salty conditions. Beautiful image. Regards Cornelius

The path looks much safer here. The sea looks relatively calm and also multicolored. I suppose it is algae and not oil stains there in front.

Lovely shot with such vitality. Are those really ice-plants on the bank? Over here in the UK ice-plant is Sedum, whereas the ones in the shot look like Mesembryanthemum. But I guess this may well be just diverse usage of a common name.

Feel like I'm walking along this path also and I love the view. The flowers really add to overall composition. What a place to look out to sea. Nice series you have going Lyn.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

A continuation of the gorgeous sights that you've been showering us with, Eve. What a great walk you had, and I'm wondering when or if you ever got those provisions you had started out to get!!

I'd have picked some of those flowers to bring home for a home macro shoot.
