This is where the track ends. It is possible to clamber down to the beach - steeper than it actually looks here, domain of gulls, spotted shags and penquins. I made numerous attempts to capture the bird life on this walk and succeeded very well in ruining perfectly nice seascapes with blurry splodges ! Time to turn round and return to the harbour.. .Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated. Please view full size - looks better.

For me, this is the best in the series, Lyn because I love the colour and composition so much in this image. The shadows from the cliff-face and the deep water on the horizon tie together beautifully. A terrific shot!

That is a real aquamarine sea with tinges of blue. Well you have had a long walk but it was worthwhile.

Lord I like the varied water colors in these pictures. Beautiful look along the face of the cliffs. Nice series Eve ... and do work on that "blurry splodges" problem please. I would have loved to have seen a "spotted shag" what ever that is. :)

I think I heard Austin Powers mutter something about "blurry splodges" of "spotted shag." Maybe I'm wrong. What a good series Lyn. The walk was healthy, informative and a feast for the old lookers. Great job Lyn.

You've definitely saved the best for the last, and it's safely tucked away with its companions..so if I ever rethink visiting NZ I'll just look at these in the screen saver rotation!!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . .
