I took this photo specially for my 'waiting' theme and I hope it gets past the "snapshot police" :) :) The child (my 3 year old granddaughter)is waiting for the ducks to come closer, and the ducks (no relation!)are waiting for their bread. Please enjoy this little bit of sunshine with me :). .Panasonic DMC-FZ7.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.

A lovely photo Lyn - The shadows falling on the back of your granddaughter and the way she stands concentrating on the ducks make this something special.

very cute Lyn and not a snapshot at all - it is a portrayal of a young child looking at the lake and ducks in wonderment! really lovely! Patti

This has nothing to do with a snapshot Lyn. It's a cute and wonderful photograph depicting the theme again in an excellent way. Regards, Cornelius

It seems to me that every photo has its own story. What is snapshot to one, is honored keepsake to another. This is not a snapshot, but a place in time being shared by a young girls learning process of nature and ducks learning to trust. You captured it beautifully. Good photo Lyn.

Not even close to being a snapshot in my book. A lovely capture of a moment perhaps many are familiar with as grandparents. Love the way the sunlight highlights a portion of her hair. The scene itself is so charming and the water color is magnificient. All together ... marvelous photography Eve.

I love shots of innocents sharing life with the rest of us, but seeing it for the first time..to be able to grab even a tenth of the enthusiasm and emotion is a treasure all its own...and I hope you'll forgive me the indulgence of uploading this into my people faves :)

Well, I'm not sure how this photo was accepted by caedes. I posted a photo of my two little grandchildren in an Autumn tree a couple weeks ago, and it was rejected. I might like to ask about the difference, makes no sense to me at all.

Wonderful colors and great shot, Eve. I don't know why some shots pass and others don't other than it depending on the mod of the moment. I don't see this as a snapshot because it is too artistic in nature and could anyone's young child.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . .
