:) Another one of my friend's roses enjoying a shower.I always find this colour a difficult one to photograph well. Not quite red, not quite orange. . . .Kodak V440.. Thank you for taking a look.Any comments are most welcome and always appreciated.

Very attractive; the dew drops work particularly well with this colour.

The velvet looks smooth and clear and the diamonds glitter. Beautiful rose so well presented.

Oooo! I love those "Diamonds" shots! I have some trouble with those colors as well at times. I find that if I set the camera to some degree of underexposure it gives me a photo that matches more what my eye sees.

This is beautiful, Eve. You are right about those colors being hard to photograph. I wonder if anyone knows of a technical explanation for that and was it just as difficult with film photography? Still, I think you did a great job of capturing this color, one of my favorite reds.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

One of the reasons I was told that this and red and white are hard to photograph is because the camera can't always "see" a line to focus on. Here your well-defined petal view is a possible cause for your great success!! Super color.

I get Spirea's covered with ice and you get roses kissed by the rain. Where's the fairness in that? lol Looks to me like you got the color captured real nice. Love the framing as usual. Just a gorgeous photo Lyn.
