“The flower that follows the sun does so even in cloudy days” ~ Robert Leighton . . . . . .I tried adjusting the sky colour in this shot as I thought the clouds were too white, but nothing looked right so have left it as is. Interested to know what you think :)Panasonic DMC-FZ7.

The flower looks beautiful and it is in sharp focus. As for the sky, you know how the colors change with the sun. I tried a 10% blue filter on this and I think it looked a bit better. But that is not really important.

The balance of colors is just as nature would have it. Well done! :)

With your DOF being as good as it is, I don't think that the impact of the sky is that huge on the flower. It's easy to see and the color is luscious!

Sky looks fine to me. This flower is not hurt by color of the sky. Colors are so bright and the frame is just perfect. Another in a long line of Lynarvelous fotos.

Creamy colorings, however, I don't care for this one..sorry!! The framing matching the coloring of the flora and the tree limbs in back kinda throw it off for me...sorry sweetie!!

For me, the background is irrelevant. The bloom is so lovely, especially from this interesting angle.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Very hard to do to adjust the sky Lyn...i think as you found out:))...looks good the way it is...one thing you could use is maybe a polarizer filter on your lens....gerry
