Tickets please :) . . The interior of the carriage pulled by THIS engine. I made sure I was first in the door so I could get a shot of it empty. As it turned out only a very few people sat in here - they preferred the other open carriage. Panasonic DMC-FZ7 . .Thank you for viewing. Any comments are welcome and always appreciated.

I get the feeling I am walking down this isle in the train when I look at this in full size. Really great detail and the red door makes this a very colorful shot. I like it.

Once I went to your link it explained the old-fashioned nature of the interior of this car. Great perspective piece, as well as being historical!

Makes me think of Butch Cassiday and the Sundance Kid, Jesse and Frank James and all the train robbers. I can almost picture this car full of people dressed in their period attire. This photo lends itself to that. Great shot and I'm glad you weren't holding up the train, just the passengers wanting to get on. Cool post Lyn.

Very nice shot Lyn. Looks like the cars the Durango Silverton Narrow Guage Railroad uses in Colorado. On that trip I also chose the open gondola cars. Good job. Terry

A wonderful composition and the colors are wonderful. I think the frame also adds to the over-all view.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
