A grey day on the Grey River. Taken from the bridge at Brunner. Just to the right of this peaceful scene is the remains of the Brunner Coal Mine and a Memorial to the 65 men and boys who lost their lives underground in the disastrous mine explosion in June 1896.

Although gray skies and gray-green river are not ideal for a good photo this looks so tranquil and beautiful.

Some really nice terrain captured here at just the right angle and just where the river bends. Such a nice composition and a sad event.
