Driving home along State Highway 1 at 8.15 this evening I could not resist a stop here at Lake Waihola (South Island NZ) - a spot I knew well in my childhood years but now see differently with a camera in my hand:) A nice place to sit and dream, especially at this hour when the shadows are long and all is peaceful and quiet. . . Thank you for sitting a while with me . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7. . .Any comments welcome and appreciated.

When I saw the picnic table with bench I knew Owd Timer would be one of the first ones there. Tree looks a little bow legged. Great view and I sure miss summer. Thanks for the beautiful reminder of better days ahead, Lyn. At least more pleasant weather. lol

I will have to confess, I didn't think I was going to like this until I viewed it full screen. Then, it became a keeper. Proof that we all should be sure to view every image full screen. Excellent work.

Its a mighty fine composition even with the picnic table.The color balance seems a tad off and unnatural given the sky color.Your eye on this senic view is just fine to me.
