Slow progress by the light of the moon, and a bit of help from a porch light. There were about 5 of these on the path as I stepped out of work, activating the security light just before 10pm. . . I chose the nicest looking one lol . . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7. . . Any comments welcome and appreciated.

This is one target where you don't need to say "stop, I want to shoot!" :) Good clarity and details, good shot, Lyn.

Nice shot. Living in the woods, we have these guys without the shell. We call them Banana Slugs and get about the the size of one. And you really don't want to step on these guys at night. Yuck!

What a beautifully coloured snail and very well captured as well. If you have lots of snails you could start up Snail Racing as a sideline! lol

Sometimes you need to make chalk marks to insure they're actually moving. Nothing worse than a photo of a dead snail. Good one Lyn.

Don't they eat your garden? How could you refrain from mashing them long enough to take the picture? Well, if you had to take a picture of a snail, this is an excellent one.

He certainly is a nice looking one! And all by the light of the silvery porch. Just the right amount of greens and greys, colours and definition in this are really good. I hope he appreciated the close-up!

Wonderful clarity and sharpness - probably used a fast shutter speed huh? Don't want too much blur from this speedster - lol.
