On my travels - going home a few nights ago. No place to stop, so taken from open car window. (no,I was not the driver! :) ) I know 'taken from a window' shots are discouraged but this glory was too lovely not to share, and maybe its failings will be forgiven. The beauty was so fleeting, the sky soon grey.

I would never have known it was taken from car window. Not that it makes a difference. This is just a great scene. Love the Walters on the horizon against that beautiful sky. Very good Lyn.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .
I was just reading in a photography book that I picked up that using your car as a "blind" is a good tool! So even though you wouldn't have frightened those clouds away..just think of your car as a huge tripod!!

LOL...you remind me of trying to get a sunrise a few weeks back when I was driving and could not find good place to stop to get a good picture...you shot from wimndow and gald you did this is nice...gerry
