I liked the contrasting colours of the stark hills and the jewel-like water. The early autumn shades of the trees were a bonus. Lake Aviemore, New Zealand. Panasonic DMC-FZ7. Thank you for viewing :)
Excellent post Lyn. I believe Sabine had a post today that the color of the water was very similar to this. This really looks good with the contrasting rocks. Such a peaceful scene. I can remember as a kid when the mining was done and they left what we called a strip pit. The water was this color. Thanks for the memory.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
Those are very bleak hills, Lyn. Not something I would associate with New Zealand. You are right about the contrast and the beautiful colour of the water.
