even if it changes it is true a lot the picture wouldn t it be better just to crop the lifebuoy? would give a panorama harmony of colors( the lifebuoy s color..)

Well, I have to respectfully ask to agree to disagree with Gael's perception of this upload. I like the contrasting colors of orange and all that divine blue. Since they live on opposite sides of the color wheel, they were certainly meant to compliment each other, and they do a very fine job of that here.

Whadda view!

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Beautiful view of the lake and the hills, Lyn. If you had stood more forward to cut out the boat you would have got the spray on your lens :)

Beautiful photo and I too like the color of the lifebuoy to contrast that wonderful blue. Great photo Lyn. Feel like I'm travelling with you. I can't wait to see the sheep dogs in action. I hope we can take a photo of them. Are we there yet? How much longer? Have a good weekend Lyn.

Wonderful choice of perspective. The bow of that early 20th century steamer makes a bit of a time warp. Love these old vessels. I spend almost as much time watching the engine as the scenery.

Great shot Lyn! The sense of distance is enormous and the bounding-the-edges composition is one of those breaking the rules beauties. As for the water colour - wow!
