Beautiful old girl. Taken a lickin' but keeps on tickin'. You could not have asked for a more beautiful day to capture. Good timing, too. The light was perfect.

Thanks for the link. I can just visualize those big piston arms turning and smell the coal fire.

Very nice to see a coal fired boat - I didn't know that any existed now-a-days. Don't stand on the leeward side of the funnel though - unless you have a change of clothes at hand. :)

Just a great combination Lyn. You have so many elements working together to make this a beautiful presentation. I particularly like the mountain range just above the boat. The clouds and water make the ship come alive. Throw in a bird for good measure, some trees for a garnish and you have a recipe for a great photo.

A lovely vivid shot. Personally I would have liked to have seen a bit more of the fore and aft ends of the ship included as well, but as it was coming in to berth I guess you had good reasons for excluding them.
