Sifting through some photos from late 2006 I came accross this one taken with my original digi camera Kodak LS420 - 2.1 megapixels. I like the way it captured the shadows on the walls. Interested in your opinions - perhaps I just think it is ok because it has happy memories of a beautiful city and a great holiday. Thanks for viewing, comments most welcome.

Super special street scene!! Grand colorings abound and a nice simple frame to enhance the view!!

A NOTE TO ALL MY FRIENDS: I WILL BE COMMENTING LESS ON PEOPLE IN MY “FRIENDS” LIST SO AS TO MAKE TIME FOR VIEWING ALL “NEW IMAGES” AND ENCOURAGING OTHER PEOPLE OF WHOM I MAY NOT KNOW OR ARE NEW TO THE SITE. I WILL STILL VIEW EVERY IMAGE OF MY FRIENDS AND STILL COMMENT ON SOME IF I CAN GIVE A GOOD CRITIQUE OR MENTION WHAT I LIKE OR FEEL IS REALLY WORKIN’ WELL IN THE IMAGE. AS FAR AS MY IMAGES IF YOU HAVE A COMMENT ON HOW I CAN IMPROVE AN IMAGE I REALLY WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT SO AS TO LEARN AND BETTER MYSELF.

I like how it's almost like looking through a window. This is one of my favorite cities...the atmosphere was fun and the food was amazing. I love the colors of the walls and you're right, the shadows add interest.

Three different house fronts in three different colours and with the shadows on them they look very attractive.

good, warm shot of a great town. the number of mega pixels certainly didn't hurt this one.

Very nice. It just goes to show that the eye of the photographer for color and composition is more important than the technical specs of the equipment.

A beautiful shot taken in very sympathetic light, either early morning or evening judging by the shadows. The colours are great and I like the small group of people in the foreground.

I like photos that let you know time has been stopped. This is one of those. The lighting and shadows are really good. I can see why you have special memories of this place. Good work Lyn.

A case for bigger is not always better...beautifully executed photo Lyn. Great colour, composition and the building lines are all straight. Nice work.

A very good atmosphere you created here. I like your framing, too. no problem with the 2 Mpixels.

No, I like the light in this too. Shame about the three guys bottom left but you caught something of Italy with this - definitely worth the post.
