Many areas close to my town endured an antarctic blast today, with blizzards and hailstorms causing the closure of several roads and schools. No snow for us,except on the mountains, just a bitterly cold wind and a sky show to end the day. I loved the colours and for a change decided to attempt a water colour effect. Your opinions are welcome :) . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7, post fiddling in PSP

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However, a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced. Everyone has photographic memory; some just don't have the film. COME ON YOU GREENS, UP THE ARGYLE.....

Beautiful colors, Eve! You did a nice job of the effects and framing. Your touch on the watercolor must have been light.

Beautifully colored skies. I just love this one very much. While your enduring bitter cold, I'm sweating my tushy off with 97 degree F. heat. I'll trade with ya? Keep up the great work.

a red sky does not always mean good weather - I know that from my forty odd years at sea all around the world.
Great capture, Lyn. Beautiful!

Good effect Lyn. The watercolor works well with this. It doesn't seem that long ago we were have snowstorms and you were basking in the heat. Very good post.
