A lovely shot of the beach and coastline. Everything looks so clear - perhaps the purity of the air has also something to do with it besides, of course your camera :).

Great shot Lyn. Looks inviting even in the winter. I would be tempted to haul off the driftwood. Colors and compostion are really good.

Complimentary framing really seizes the moment here!! Just stunning!! I wanna dip my toes in the chilly, yet warming sand!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

Well, I'm glad you didn't get sick, but it was worth it for you to risk it. This picture is amazing! There are lots of different colors and shades of colors. The framing also really adds a certain quality to the pic. Excellent work!

I think you and I share a fascination with the seaside LE. You get so many elements that speak to me - deep blues against sandy pinks and yellows, bleached driftwood and the lines of the shore and the waves. Love this one, the composition's very good. I think I've decided to get to the coast at the weekend.

Once again you have proven your ability to compose wonderful scenes. Your colours are very good and the details are spot on. I notice that you managed to capature the misty spray in the L/H beach horizon, well done. The most key element to me is your use of lighting, this was taken at a very good time as all the objects are clearly defined by the low slung light. Good work Lyn. A fine presentation and post.

The bone chilling was worth it. The result is superb. The wind really churned up that surf, producing a delightful contrast.

Great combination of cool and warm colors. A great angle for this shot and an interesting piece of driftwood.
