This was taken last year. You can see the road called Beach Road, just beyond the bushes.Sadly the road is now closed as the sea has eroded the banks and washed away the road in many places. There is an alternative route and repairs are planned but further damage was done in the recent storms. This is on the way to Kakanui and Campbells Bay where my recent photos were taken. . . Panasonic DMC-Fz7. Post work in PSP . . Thank you for viewing, comments welcome :)

What a shame, but the sea can be relentless. Nice post.

Good news is a couple of interesting tide pools stayed behind to be explored. The variety of life in these is astounding. For me, they are half the fun of going to the shore. Greyscale was a wonderful choice. Great composition.

Erosion is a terrible thing and so is the rise of sea level due to which some islands are already being evacuated. A good view of the coast and a nice ly composed B/W image.

Great landscape that really suits B&W, Lyn.

Wow this is clear Lyn. It looks good in B/W. There seems to be a trend for B/W right now. I like it. Good post.

Got the contrast working in this one. Like the composition and also the swept grasses. Very seascapeish. Is that a word? Nice one Lyn:)

Nice use of B&W LE, it's interesting to see this place devoid of colour, really stresses the structure and shapes of the landscape.

Lovely B/W shot. The landscape is amazing and makes an amazing desktop.
