There are over 100 species of Fuchsia, a small number of them being native to New Zealand. I do not know if this is one of them but it lives near my back door:) . . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7 . . I am going to visit grandchildren for a few days so no posts from me until I return.Thanks everyone for your encouragement and kindness.

Ours grow in pots, Eve. At this latitude, none would brave the winter temps. We do see this variety though and the birds love to build their nests in the hanging pot. Such pretty colors. You are so lucky to have this outside your door. More great framing from you too.

Beautiful colors. Love to see them blooming in mass groups of blooms. Very tough colors to capture without them bleeding out a bit too.
