"Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts." ~Rachel Louise Carson . . . This was such a lovely scene I wish I could have done justice to it. This and #2 were taken from slightly different angles but both resulted in wet feet:) Early evening, Otago, New Zealand. I hope you may feel a little of the quiet peace that was there. Canon EOS 450D. Thanks for looking, comments always welcome.

An ideal place for sailing, rowing etc. etc. Beautifully captured scene, Lyn you have done ample justice to the scene, I believe.

i prefer this one probably because of the absence of all the branches. lovely shot. the brown tones are very nice and of course the water is superb.

This is so beautiful Lyn. The way the sunlight just catches the hill on the left, the lovely pastel colours in the sky and the placid water all go to make an ideal scene.

So beautiful. I love how everything is so bright and clear. The light is the main ingredient in this shot Lyn. It makes everything else look so good to the eyes. Perfect.

Well now, I'm gonna tell ya....I really like this one. I saved and faved it. I don't care that much for number 2 because there are just too many branches obstructing the view. But this one, is a real winner.
