This and Winter Light#1 are both from my 'bin' - they were taken from the same spot along the road from where I live, with my Panasonic DMC-FZ7 and post work done in PSP. This is the zoom view -you can see the haystack in both. . . .thanks for viewing, comments always welcome and appreciated. . . . . . . Both are super duper, I like the funky tree in the other...however, think I like this one the best!! Luv the tonalities and view beyond workin' in this image!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

The light on the mountains in the background is extraordinary, Lyn. Although both images are lovely, I prefer this one. I think the zoom shot gallows for more detail to be seen. Also, I find the tree in the foreground of #1 a bit distracting.

I also like this one but find the one with the tree better, though here the lighting is actually better.

I see it the way Randy does. The tree in the other shot is quite pretty, but I like this long view more. That glow in the sky gives Winter a warmer look and I love the undulating hills. Very lovely, Eve.

I like this one too Lyn. To choose would not be fair to the other. They both are so beautiful. I haven't lived this long by telling one that the other is more beautiful. At least not when they are side by side. lol.

Great post.

Beautiful open scenic location. Almost looks like a spotlight. Thanks for sharing that view. Can't imagine saying "on the road from where I live...." : )

There's so much to love about this one - the softness of it, the rolling hills, the way it all flows together. Great shot!

I like the light in both. The mountains in the distance and the curving lines in the foreground here are quite special. Nice work.

Both of these images are great, but something about this one made me click that fave button again, very beautiful scene expertly captured.
