This gorilla at Mebourne Zoo did not seem very happy with life - he just sat and threw a piece of wood a few inches every couple of minutes, picked it up and inspected it and then threw it somewhere else. I guess he was bored. . . Now his relative, a fine happy looking specimen expertly photographed by heidlerr (Russ)can be seen HERE . I guess they are just like humans - some smile through life and others are happy to be miserable :) . . .Panasonic DMC-FZ7. Thanks for viewing, comments most welcome.

After all I ate at Thanksgiving, I can tell you exactly what is wrong with him. He has gas. Did you notice the dust flying around like a little wind storm or a strange aroma in the air? I think you cleaned him up right nicely Lyn. Excellent post.

No, I think he is trying to figure out why he is living in a Zoo? Nice shot and presentation.

Typical look. Most of the time they look so bored. A fine capture of this beautiful creature.

Great capture of this animal but like you said, he is unhappy. I'd rather see them have their freedom than be confined in a zoo. Great detail on this and color.

this one made me laugh Lyn! That is one gorilla with an attidude and he is letting you know it - so comical because the expression is so human! faving this one. Love the framing too.
