Imagine yellow :) I had to climb on a box to get this shot. My small grandchildren have grown 4 giant sunflowers which have reached to the roof of their garage. This is one of them.I think the b/w emphasizes the detail. Opinions/comments always welcome. . . Panasonic DMC-FZ7

Black and White do emphasize the details but so do yellow and dark brown. Great lighting and clarity. A wonderful image, Lyn.

If they are growing further you'll have to use a helicopter Lyn, lol. Very fine capture! Although in B&W, it brings some sunshine on this wint'ry day in Holland. Thanks for sharing.

The box climbing was well worth it. Nice B&W shot Lyn.

I'm a fan of sunflowers for a variety of reasons. They make great subjects, such as here, and give one a visual sense of warmth, and fresh summer air. I like the b/w here.. but wish the tips hadn't gotten cropped out.

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

Beautiful in B & W ... love the lighting on petals & the detail in the center of the sunflower is magnificent. Very well done Lyn.

Super duper in the B&W really draws out the detail baby!! I, unlike Rob, would've rather seen it a little more closer on the take...ya know, in you face!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
