Purple Pom Pom Flower - allium.....Canon 450D. Background was quite nicely burred but I decided to give it a bit of radial blur adjustment for impact. Thanks for viewing, comments/opinions most welcome.

The radial blur makes it look like fireworks exploding. Nice picture and nice choice of effect.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
As you know Lyn from my previous postings Alliums are one of the few flowers that I can recognise without help from Mrs b. I really like your treatment of this gorgeous flower. The radial blur helps to focus on the Star of The Show.

Love that background - it's like a 'starburst', is that how you did it? The purple of the allium shouts from the screen and really grabs you. It's maybe a tiny bit bright in places but what a stunner!
