I wonder if the Maoris meant it just as a fact or whether there was some other deeper meaning behind it. Very nice capture with those reflections and the dark framing.

Beautiful post Lyn, mainly because of the fabulous reflections of the trees in the water. Have tried to find out what kind of houses are to be seen behind the trees, but couldn´t find the answer.
