Another view of this beautiful waterfall on the Tautuku River, NZ. The 1 km track to it is slightly steep and muddy in parts but well worth the effort to see the falls. They are 22 metres in height. There is a viewing stand high up to the right of the photo but when I saw a 'real photographer' scramble down to a rocky ledge and set up his tripod I decided to follow. No tripod for me, the camera was enough to carry ! Canon 450D. Thanks for viewing. Comments/opinions/advice all appreciated.

Another good composition with the split falls and some nice details on the rocks and mosses.

Very good depth of focus. Lighting and composition with surroundings and foreground are very nice.

I don't blame you for not packing a tripod LE. The double falls look good. You must have been standing in a precarious spot. It looks really refreshing.
The light sorta takes away from the texture on the water in the foreground but it still is amazing.

Comment unto one another as you would have them comment unto you. If you like comments, you need to comment some yourself.

So beautiful as well as crisp and clear. I can almost here the water sounds as well as a slight breeze. Nice work.

My favourite of these two, and wonderful without the tripod. Yes, I agree with Tick about the foreground light on the water, but I like it anyway.
