Taken with Canon 450D at the end of our summer, which right now seems a long time ago - roll on Spring, I have had enough winter :)"The Rainbow comes and goes, And lovely is the Rose" ~William Wordsworth . . . Thanks for viewing. Any comments/opinions most welcome.

Wow what a great shot Lyn. I felt the same way about winter, it seems longer every year. The blooms re-charge the soul for sure and winter drains it.

A very beautiful rose very well captured, Lyn . Sharp in focus and lovely in colour. Very good presentation too.

Nice to see this great shot of a beautiful rose, so nicely framed. Summer here seems to have come and gone already ... winter always comes too soon, and leaves too late.

I am like the Owd Timer. I was looking for five pieces of broccoli. This is much more pleasing to the eye.
Great detail. Normally you post in 1680 x 1080.

I like the clarity of the rose and how the background slowly fades away.

This is a beautiful image and with such good colour, clarity and light. You have also tastefully framed it - adding that little bit of an extra touch. Well done!

Ahhh..."5 buds" :) So lovely and excellently captured and presented, Lyn! I love the soft focus and the touch of rouge at the tips of the buds, which is ever so gently picked up in the nicely blurred background! The lighting is divine! Faved + saved to enjoy longer :)
